Its amazing what you can find when you know where to look...
This exhibition showcased the photographic works of Andrew Paul Brooks. Featuring snapshots of a world that goes by unnoticed; the large format, gritty images were the result of following urban explorers as they discovered the hidden depths of Manchester. My favourite image of the exhibition was titled 'Court Yard' (top image) it showed a high angle shot of a courtyard in central Manchester, its appearance captured some eerie qualities that would not have been out of place in a Brother's Grimm tale.
The inspiring images displayed at the exhibition held at Urbis in manchester made me think about composition and colour in my own photographic work.
