Photographing the kitchen...

               

Last week I took a break from the studio to return home and photograph a day in a working kitchen. This is for a self motivated project that involves the development of a cookbook. 

I wanted the images to show the processes used within the kitchen, not just present the finished article to the reader. So after photographing the team at work, I visited to the grocers, fishmongers and butchers to take a few pictures of where the produce came from, I feel that these are some of the most effective images from the day.

I am really looking forward to returning to the kitchen at Whites next week to re-shoot.
